There are also at least three maple saplings that look to be several years old just growing wherever they were blown. Thanks to /r/whatsthisplant, who ID'ed the disaster, I can tell you I have goutweed and lily-of-the-valley spreading into the lawn, overgrown, underwatered and half-dead raspberries, a very bug-eaten and distressed rubarb, a dahlia and an I-don't-know-what overgrowing each other into an elderberry bush, mostly dead violets, irises, daylilies, mallows, and shasta daisies, a lilac bush half drowning in euonoymus and something else (also all through the yew).Īnd all of that is liberally interspersed with dandelions, something else that makes little white puffs of seeds, thistles, plaintain, quackgrass, etc, that has also spread into the lawn.
